And if you know your history, Mongolian invaded the south of Russia under Genghis Khan leadership :) So surely some of them stayed there and became russian :P Or he could be a cossack, who are russian. Anyway, it's a russian soldier in my opinion.
His face looks retarded, and since the sleeves are cut off his suit looks like a damn dress.

Nice drawing... but try something that will get you fuller colors, that would add to it.
Russia is only cold on winter and anytime near winter, so basically it's like the northern US...but it's drawn pretty good, so good job.
This drawing looks pretty good. What really got me was his face. The nose is PERFECT! Also he reminds me of Niko Bellic from GTA IV. And the sleeveless thing is just cool. You gotta be tough too go sleeveless in russia. :)

Okay enough worshipping... The pic looks great, very detailed and the colours add perfectly with his character. The only point I have is that the clothing at his legs goes down in two straight lines. It looks a bit strange. (you still draw far better then me so I won't complain)

He looks like a Russian pirate. These things are generally accepted as awesome. I also find the eye to be a bit off though. All the morereason for some eyepatch action.

A nice character you've got going on here.
The only fault I can see is it doesn't look like his eyes are focused on the same spot. Combined with that red nose he looks a wee bit tipsy.
