The other day I went to Disneyland for the second time since forever and went on the Indiana Jones ride. If you ever visit the park sometime, I suggest going on that ride FIRST before it breaks down...because it's an awesome ride and breaks down a lot. When I was a little kid I went to Disneyland with my parents and big brother and I was really gullible especially when it came to adults. If some adult told me a my insides were made of glue and paper mache, I would have been terrified to go outside in the rain.
ANYWAYS, I was really excited to go on the Indiana Jones ride, right? And it took forever to get through the line. There's that safety video you're always forced to watch because you've got nothing better to do standing in a line. There was a warning not to stare into the 'Forbidden Eye' and some gay special effects that made a guy turn into a skeleton as if the forbidden eye fried his ass. So when we got on the ride and the car started moving, my brother was like "Remember, don't look at the forbidden eye or you'll DIE! AHAHAHA." and the damn thing is right at the beginning of the ride, so when I saw it, I closed my eyes and put my head between my legs through the rest of the ride and missed everything.
I feel a lot better going back to that ride again and conquering my childhood fears.
It was the best fucking ride at Disneyland next to the 3D Captain Eo movie (Micheal Jackson in space with his crew of aliens and robot battling evil villains with his rainbow powers) and Space Mountain - which was amazing and I ruined my voice screaming like a banshee.
