A self portrait. Drawn with a mechanical pencil on 8x11 paper. Not my best, but I think it turned out relatively good.

Sorry for the largeness, I scanned it in and didn't do any resizing.

:D

apparently, you like self portraits but the eyes kinda scare me. its sick though :D

Awesome

I'm a big fan of portraits (:

I love the shading around the mouth and nose, it's done really well. Most people mess up with shading, but that's ace. The eyes look reeeeally different though (or is that, like, perfect representation? *doesnt want to offend*)

I really like it, overall. But maybe not so close up? That's my personal preference anyway. Awesome job!

itsKris responds:

I'll make sure my next one's not so close up :P And on the point about my eyes, uhhh I'm not sure what you were trying to say, but I'll just say that this portrait was drawn off the reference of a tiny webcam picture, lol, so if the eyes dont seem quite right, it was because I couldn't see very well :P

close up

~~REVIEW~~
Well not a bad portrait, its really close up but maybe thats what you were going for, i would have liked to see more of some color in there especially with the close up, maybe something to work on in the future, anyways nice art piece here.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
more skin texture maybe some color would help with this

~X~

itsKris responds:

Thanks, I agree, colour would help. This was done for art class though so I wasn't allowed to have any :P I think I might do another self portrait though and that one will have colour.

Thanks for the review :)
