Last up load today, I swear. =P
Down at his home in exile on the planet Dagobah Yoda gathers some of the ingredients he needs for his spicy mushroom and root stew. However, being one with the Force and believes in balance in nature he spurs the growth of the younger mushrooms so they can help spread more mushrooms.
Been working on this the last couple of days in addition to some sketching for future projects. Just wanted to something fun but good practice as well. Might add to it later though.

...but his seems down right out of character for him, using the force in a display of power to pick the mushroom...
...the lighting is awesome though :D

Actually he is encourging growth of the younger mushrooms to replace the ones he already picked. Besides Lucas kept Yoda in a lot of mystery so who is to say what he would or would not do.

Wow, this looks amazing. You got artistic skills.
now this is beautiful. You have put so much detail into this piece. Yoda is spot on the shading makes him look so lifelike. If you can do this with your flash you may rule the portal some day.

My flash skills are minimal at best plus out of date but ya if I had the time to do it I would love to do it to this level.

Nice use of crosshatching for the textured clothes and the lighting is superb. Did you use reference or is this stuff all from memory =P

I did use references but only loose ones and that is usually how I like to work.

Hehe sorry I think someone tore the page out of my dictionary that contained the word moderation. = ) Don't worry I am prolific when it comes to artwork so there will be more to come.
