Hi-Yo, Black Grim Looking Horse, away!

The whole grim reaper thing has been done myriads of times, but this picture looks fresh in many ways: lantern instead of scythe, black masklike face instead of skull and so on. I also like the devilish look of the horse and those scrolls make a nice touch.

What won my vote, however, is the way you described your character. Since I'm something of an artist myself, I always like to hear something about the pictures and how they were created.
