~~REVIEW~~
Ok well notbad on this one it is very {SIMPLE} and subtle thats not a bad thing, the mountains could get lonely i suppose and bordem hits in, so you did hit it right with his/her expression and all, you gave it some light and basic colors and feel for that matter, i yhink one issue i do have would be that you should show more of the mountain and such, everything is pleasent i think you also need another focus point something that shows how bored he or she may be, the paint style looks fresh and stylish, but again you should show more of the art like a full on art piece, anyways nice job on this cant wait to see what else you have for us, anyways keep up the decent work.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Spread the mountains out more to show more of that bordem, and also show more focus on that maybe some anamal has more fun like a snall rodent or snake even.

Hm, I hadn't thought about that. Thanks for the review.

Nice

Well the artwork is very good on this piece, although the colors are a bit strange.

The signature was certainly a nice touch and is interesting to look at.

The sky looks cool, and the mountains have style. The alien is rather strange but was depicted well.

Overall a rather strange image. Doesn't really convey any certain meaning to me personally, but the artwork is good nonetheless.

Keep up the good work

Thanks.

It's not meant to have meaning, really. It was created as a submission for the alien art collab.

Anthropomorphic aliens

I love the preconception that all aliens will look in some way, shape or form like humans. It's not a shot at you, merely just an observation of the human race as a whole. Granted, it's worked well for us, but what's to say that the conditions won't be radically different for them on their homeworld?

Still, what we appear to have here is some sort of desert planet based structures, possibly scorched hills, or even ancient Egyptian or Inca style pyramids. The construction looks rather random and haphazard, thus indicating that the builders (?) would have the ability to move the blocks, but not to shape them, which would be consistent with certain civilisations of Earth-based society, so why not elsewhere?

Right, the indigenous species, which has traditional green hue, as per the tales of yesteryear, with little green men and so forth - how quaint. The tentacles are a nice alteration, as is the additional appendage on the throat area. On top of this, the feet appear to have opposable toes, which are a nice evolutionary step forward, I suppose. Good curves and use of shading there as well, with the colour of hair blending into that of the clothes that she (?) wears.

Thanks for the review. Yeah, I'm more inclined to do more anthropomorphic characters simply because humans are what I'm best at drawing.

Sad

Very great amount of details as always with you. The alien looks quite sad that no one ever comes to visit it as well. Kind of makes you feel sad like no one ever wants to see you either. The mountains look so peaceful as well. Almost as if being there was a gift and a curse as well.

On the one hand people will never bother you but on the other you will always be alone as no one will ever know you are there. Very sad piece of work in a good way. Very nice done as well with shading. Like this piece of art.

Thanks. I hadn't realized how sad the alien actually looked until I was done drawing the whole picture.
