You might not know this but we live in Louisiana and times have been tough around here as of late. It’s been described as dream-like. It just doesn’t seem real. Due to the lack of any real national media coverage, many are completely unaware it even happened. Honestly, it was probably a good thing. The tendencies of mainstream media to apply their own spin on events is definitely something that isn’t needed here. Louisiana looked after it’s own.
I saw a Facebook post from what I believe was our local school board that ended with this Dr. Seuss quote. We thought it fit perfectly.
