*the world is tearing at the seams

After watching Draw with Jazza's Challenge of the Month from the sidelines for years, I decided to step up to the plate and finally try my hand at it. 4 years watching Jazza and wanting to participate in the challenges, but being so put off by the amazing entries that shadow what I can do. It's dumb, I know, but here we are anyway...

The theme this month was "Level Cap," or when a character has become so powerful they can't go higher; they're maxed out. I had a couple different ideas on how to go about this one, but in the end I decided to go with Undertale. After all, one of the many points of the plot in the Pacifist route is a character ascending to god status by absorbing all the souls around them. Sounds very Level Cap to me.

And so, I picked one of the most nonthreatening, cutesy monster in the entire game, Tem Shop Temmie. Sure, it seems that maybe Temmie might be a silly monster and thus would have a silly god form, and maybe in cannon, that's how it would work out. Not me though, I wanted to go serious. We all saw how cute little goat-lion Asriel turned into something totally epic and terrifying, so I wanted to convey that feeling with innocent little Temmie.

Also, partway through sketching, it occurred to me that this is very Underswap-y, so I made the human Chara instead of Frisk. It's not 100% in-cannon with Underswap, but hey, my art. My art that took me several late nights and frustration rage quits...
