The story goes, that there was a lonely woman who lived in town. she own a candle shop, when she made different types of candles, and glass holders. And even though people loved her work, she felt that was all she had to offer. One day, she wanted to test her skills, and decided to make a person out of glass, and filled them to the neck with wax. She proceeded to cut out holes into their face, to give them emotions. She made sure to give it a smile. She never liked it when people frowned. Finally she put to candles inside their eyes.
The story goes, that there was a lonely woman who lived in a small town. She own a candle shop, when she made different types of candles, and glass holders. And even though people loved her work, she felt that was all she had to offer. She felt she could not make friends or even meet a lover. One day, she wanted to test her skills, and decided to make a person out of glass, and filled them to the neck with wax. She proceeded to cut out holes into their face, to give them emotions. She made sure to give it a smile. She never liked it when people frowned. It made her feel as if she failed. Finally she put to candles inside their eyes.
She lit the wick and their eyes shined as if it was alive. The woman loved her creation so much, she made more and more of them. She eventually forgot about her shop.
She had a room filled with them, in all shapes, sizes and colors. Each one had a smile on their face. she loved each of them so much, she considered them family.
Eventually, she thought they were talking right back to her.
One day, the shop caught fire. It was speculated that she left too many candles lit. The woman died, along with the history of her past, and everything in her shop.
Except the wax people she made.
There was an action weeks later, to sell them off. People who were a fan of her work would buy one. Maybe two.
They never wanted to light them, in fear of burning out the wax. But eventually they would light it, just once.
Lighting it cause them to seem to come to life. Even seem liked they were walking towards them.
People were often captivated by them.
After a while there were reports of burning houses. Everyone in the house were dead or seriously wounded. Each one had the same exact injury, of a smile burned onto their faces.
And as years went on, the town that this all took place in, was eventually burned away from existence. Nothing remained, but the Wax People. They were all pilled away, it hopes nobody would find them, and light them.
The last living native is still around.
