SpiderBear was my take on spiderman, fused into a teddy bear. This piece features string web, painting within a painting, and a pretty rushed piece overall. I feel as though I have improved a lot since this piece. Just figured I might as well share these in the order I created them.
It looks more like a cross between a doraemon and spiderman lol.
The only thing I'd suggest is add some more lighting on certain spots on the spider man. Clearly the lighting is in front top of him, so having the color tones of his forehead and outstretched hand made more brightly could surely enhance the quality. Other then that, kudos for the great artwork!
I totally agree with you. At the time when I was working on the piece I wasn't sure what was missing to make the character pop. It's totally the lack of highlights from the light source. I might even go back to fix it now. Thanks for the review! Very helpful :D
