The monolith itself looks pretty amazing.
Funny story it's mostly done in 3DSMax and then pasted in. I figured I could model it better than I could digital-paint it.
Which is good cos now I can just use the model in-game.

i reckon its almost as good as 'planet buster 2', this one looks great but one thing, and its just my opinion; those top pieces of earth dont quite look right. its feels a bit like a sore thumb and I cant quite lay my finger on why, maybe its the shading or the brightness....regardless the rest of its looks really really cool!
Yea they're shaded differently to the rock on the bottom, they look like felt :/
I got frustrated WANTING to have a really rocky, cave-looking scene, but not having the patience to do it. So that's why the ground is kind of just a big wavey smudge.
