FF6 Recreated

Share

Here is a tileset I made just for fun. I was trying to recreate some ff6 tiles, and also put my own little spin on them. I went around some forums sharing them but they really seemed to piss people off so I stopped working on them and decided to just release them. I was hoping it'd be fun for everyone, but I guess I didn't do a good enough job or something. Regardless, I had a good time making them and feel like I learned a little bit studying the originals. Feel free to use them if you want, although I wouldn't use them in project you plan to get paid for, they are copied from copyrighted work.

very professional work. I always love seeing quality old school pixel game art. You would have been an easily employed sprite artist back in the hay day of good old 2D games. I look forward to playing something made by you in the near future.

Thanks for the kind words man, means a lot. ^_^

i agree, i can't understand people how get pissed off.....wait i can... they were probabbly jealous.

Im really impressed how much work did this take?
gonna check your gallery now...:)

Are you kidding me..?? pissed off? i can't believe people get pissed off cause of some awesome tile sets..... its completely original... and i love and adore it...

You pissed people off? You're gonna have to link these forums to these forum threads some time, I could do with a laugh.

These look great, though. The vivid lines on the bricks and the tiles give it a decent look, but it also makes the scene very busy. It may work better during gameplay when you're moving the figure about. Would look forward to seeing an adventure RPG like this. (not an FF spinoff tho)

Amazin.
