Thick Harley Quinn - Cartoon PinUp

Share

Not little, not big, just right :)

After classic Harley Quinn I made Suicide Squad version. Haven't watch it yet, but plan to. So I don't know did the outfit is right, I based it on the trailer and images online.

Very clean artwork. Do like the shoe design en positioning of the legs. Very realistic in anatomy. Small remark on the hand gripping the handle. It feels like the fingers aren't realy holding the handle. Might be my retarded eyes, though.

HugoTendaz responds:

Thank you. I'm pretty happy with anatomy also, but some proportions are little off in this one, cause I was still experimenting at that time. And I see what you mean for the grip, but I think she can just push the bat against the thighs for it to stay there.

i enjoy your art your style is pretty awesome love how her thighs spill over on the bat and how there is some slight texturing, the voluptuous toon style dig it very much

HugoTendaz responds:

Thanks. The details like that really bring more to the image. Glad you noticed. I missed some of the details, since I haven't seen the movie. There's so many details on her in the movie :)

You're a really good artist man. For real. But why do you keep drawing your girls like shortstacks? I like thick girls but at least give them a torso or something.

Is it an artistic choice? I just don't understand why, is all.

HugoTendaz responds:

I can say it's just a style, but honestly, I don't think I found my style yet. I don't want to use real human proportions in my cartoons, I think that makes them stiff and even less real. I draw that before, but I want too push more toward the cartoony look. It's more organic and have a lot more to offer. And I enjoy it more. Thank you for the feedback, I always appreciate direct and honest opinions.
