A quick Illustration to help me get a better understanding of photoshop, hands and digital paintings.

Thank you. This is my third painting in photoshop.
Also I don't like how the background looks. Plain white.
Any ideas of what could I put in the backrground without taking the contrast of the actual illustration?

Looks pretty good. A lot better then I can draw at least
