Macross Frontier!
First off, I love Macross Frontier!
At the same time, if you're trying to copy Sheryl Nome's look, I know it's difficult, but the eyes are really important. The eyelashes need to be if not much more detailed, much more pronounced. I know it's quite difficult to accomplish this, but for my favorite anime series, I believe it's important to get them right.
As for the eyes themselves, Sheryl Nome has dark blue eyes, not light blue. I did have to do a double take when I saw this and checked.
As for the rest of the body, I'm terrible at drawing myself, but I believe it might be slightly off with the depth perception of the drawing.
Aside from that, though, I believe it's very well done. Keep it up!

The details you mentioned are important and I agree. The eyes in Japanese cartoons are very important. I failed a little about it, but I never watched the drawing, thus do not have the best knowledge about the character.
But I hope I can improve on next drawings.
