DED "Sleeper"

Share

This is the second DED character I've done so far. I made it more simple and a bit creepier. I don't entirely like the black spot to the left of the head though, but I did it in ink, and it does kinda feel like it completes the drawing in a way... Though I do have two other sketches of this drawing; one without shading and one without the shaky outline.

Thanks! I'm glad you think so. :)

Great character!

What really draws me to this piece is all of the symbols and parts that contrast and play off of one another. There's this mystery about this guy that makes me wondering if he's stitched together out of sackcloth or if those claws and spikes on his back would be hard. The hood is great too. It conjures up images of a scythe like the grim reaper would have. And, for such a dark being, this guy has a playfulness about him that's strangely charming. Keep up the good work!

Hoboweasel responds:

Thanks a ton man! :D

Awweeee-!

Omg, I love that face!! And he's so cute adskfjahd- awesome :->

Hoboweasel responds:

Ahaha, yeah. He wasn't really supposed to be all that scary... I'm not quite sure where he is in terms of creepiness though. Thanks for the comments! :)
