I draw as a hobby I want to be good at rather than something I want to be paid to do someday. I drew this on Tegaki (an art blog site-thing with only one layer) and I sorta have a story for her, but who knows if one of these days I can make it happen... 'Cause I don't know how to animate (yet). As of now, she has no name since I can't quite think of one that'll fit.

Basic premise: Traveling sorcerer dude attends a royal ball, hoping to impress the royal family to acquire some royal cha-ching, like a chunk of the kingdom or something of equal value. Sure, he impressed a ton of people, except for the princess. No matter what he did, she just couldn't be pleased and was rather stuck-up about it. Being the worldly traveler he was who took on challenges more impressive than pleasing bratty princesses, the sorcerer knew he was quite capable of taking a chunk of the kingdom himself if he wanted to and to make a point, he transformed the princess into something that'll aptly reflect her materialistic nature and disappeared.

Years passed and the king was mortified with having a daughter who can't be wedded. "Miss Peacock" lost pieces of her memory over time and simply accepted the notion that she's just a pretty thing rather than acknowledge the person she used to be: Someone who was mean and over-opinionated simply for appearances rather, "just to be different", than making a point. But she had to get out of that castle at some point 'cause she doesn't understand why her dad was so repulsed by her.

Insert life-changing story about transformation and identity.

Will there be other "transformed people" out there in the world whom she'll encounter? Maybe, but likely not since she's supposed to be "different" and kinda easy to make fun of so she can toughen up and become human. Am I into athros? Uh... No. I just like animals and peacocks are pretty. Odds are that I may draw more people when I feel like it.

If you managed to read this far, I do appreciate constructive feedback. I may not be an uber-special-awesome artist, but if I was able to convey my character's story alright enough through a single picture, I think I'm on to something.

I like the style and the story to go with . I hope you have a chance to draw more. As for a name, My opinion is weighing towards Shiva or Undine. Just my opinion.
