Here's something I made six years ago in high school 3D Arts and Design class. We got coloured glass, a mirror and some metals. I don't remember the exact process, but we basically etched a design on the mirror and soldered all the parts together with metal.

Looking back, it actually looks pretty good for my freshman self. Yes, I made the tentacle dude from The Darkness.
