Medkits

Share

Update: Switched from a blinn to phong and removed spec map.

You know how in older games there were 2-3 different types of medkits and you knew just by how they looked how one was going to give you more health than the other... Yeah this is my rendition of that.

Let me know what you think. I'm always open to constructive criticism. Just know I am learning 3D-modeling through school and I am still rather new to it.

Clearly a necessity in most games - @evowolfdemon was right about how ya could use some extra texturing but so far so good !

Well I think you need to look at more reference to up the quality of your textures and the over all shape of your med kits I did a med kit while back and it is alright looking but prob could use work.
I will give you five stars tho because I have never given you five before and you deserve five :D
Plus its cool you did some thing old school kinda ha ha.

HeroPower responds:

You're alive! Haha haven't talked to you in awhile :P Thanks dude I appreciate the feedback. Yeah I know I need to get better at texturing. For this I just did solid colors and then did various types of burns in photoshop to add detail. Unfortunately the details don't show up due to the lighting.... Will have to figure out why.... I'm taking a texture class and a digital drawing class this quarter that are suppose to help us get better at textures so we will see how much I improve over the next 10 weeks haha
