Pervideo the Discord

Share

Reupload from my deviantArt.

The root of inner chaos, twisting and curling, in a constant battle against itself.

Powers: Pervideo was a root-like monster, that split itself half way across it's form, with each side in a constant state of disharmony with the other: while one wanted to move, the other did not; one moved left, the other right; one wanted to join together, the other would not. Yet from this discord within itself is what Pervideo drew it's strength from, for as long as it remained in disharmony, it could not be harmed, and would become a destructive force that no Sunguard could withstand.

Defeat and Aftermath: Pervideo was not truly defeated by the Sunguard; rather, by chance the conflict it generated on its two sides reached a climax, when the Demon caused harm to itself to great for a quick recovery, leaving it unable to act, though not after taking out a great number of it's foes before falling. Undestanding that the two sides of the creature required a connection, the Sunguard locked the creature by placing each part on the different side of a ring of stone, burying it deep under the debris. But Discord is a strong force, and though Pervideo could not gain mobility again, the roots of its evil could breach any surface, eventually finding it's way into new life forces.
