Ieiunium the Hungering

Share

Reupload from my deviantArt.

On a constant search for sustenance it did not need, Ieiunium fed on everything that emanated energy.

Powers: Ieiunium was odd, for representing Gluttony, as it ate everything that had a source of energy, be it Sunguards, forming pieces of terrain,...anything at all, with the exception of its siblings (although it still desired to gourge itself on their bodies as well, oogling them with hungry intent). And its level of consumption was represented by the green fire flowing out of the gaping mouth on its back, as well as another oddity: the more it ate, the bigger it was, and the more shapely it became, giving Ieiunium greater strength.

Defeat and Aftermath: In order to weaken and cage Ieiunium, the Sunguard tricked it into a forming tunnel system composed of semi-organic material, and once it closed itself, Ieiunium began to weaken, as the tunnel itself was slowly feeding on the Demon. Despite hoping for Ieiunium to be consumed by the tunnel, the Sunguard could not predict what the outsides of the long, circumference tunnel would become. So Ieiunium was able to slowly feed and sustain itself from time to time after eons had passed, as it constantly moved through the tunnel, where some weakened, walking sources of energy would fall onto the tunnel and were unable to escape. This system left Ieiunium weakened and in a semi-conscious state, but still active.
