Dormio the Slumbering

Reupload from my deviantArt.

The greatest gamble in their primordial battle against the Twenty, the Sunguards chose dangerously.

Powers: Though far from the most powerful among its siblings, Dormio was perhaps the one of the Twenty Primal Demons with the greatest potential to bring doom. The creature had a process of metamorphosis that kept it safe and more powerful over its foes: every time it was in danger to be severely or fatally damaged, it would dust most of its body, with only a smaller, dusty stone avatar in its place; and would then recover from its "slumber", as a great mass of a mud-like material would form from the statue so that the creature could move once more. But Dormio's greatest source of power came from its moments of rest, as for every one of it's sleeps, not only would the demon reawaken completely recovered, but the longer it had been asleep, the more powerful it would be. With this, it was impossible for the Sunguard to destroy the demon, as every time it felt in danger, it would just iniciate its rejuvenation process, and wake up stronger than the entirety of its foes.

Defeat and Aftermath: Since the Sunguards could not face it without the Demon evading battle, they were left with only one option. By harnessing their light, and primordial elements that were new to the Cosmos, the Sunguard created from a ritual a small construct, and this construct released from it sounds most soothing and touching. The construct was placed upon the monster, and it automatically reverted to its statue form, and could not wake up again. They knew that with this, the next time Dormio would awaken its power would be vastly superior than any number of Sunguards. In order to minimize the chances of it happening, a special cage was built to keep both the creature and the construct inside in peace.

Very deep

You even bring on some deep story background for this charracter you make some detailed work and have a story to back it up that great light source seems to have some really nice detail and lighting effect you should spread out the light even more on the surrounding areas but that's what I take away from this piece and I hope you keep making brilliant charchter designs for years to come

~~SUGGESTED IDEAS~~
Some more spread out lighting
