Its tentacles hoarded its enemies, Greed present before any worldy possessions.

Powers: Cupiditas was powered by its Greed, but before any other being on that plane, aside from the Sunguard and the Twenty Primal Demons, there was not much to hoard. But this creature hoarded it's enemies, as it gazed with no eyes voraciously at the Sunguards themselves, coveting them. It tooked the beings of light and would cage them within itself, becoming stronger the more it inprisioned, with the Sunguards being molten to a golden substance as they were crushed within the creature.

Defeat and Aftermath: By Greed it lived, and by Greed did Cupiditas fall. With a great sacrifice of thousands, the Sunguard created a floating, crystal-like device, that shined greater than any Sunguard that had been captured by the Demon, enticing it into the presence of such splendor, which made it desire the crystal more than anything; but once Cupiditas touched it, it could not escape, and it could not drain the crystal within its body, as it just reflected upon itself eternally. Despite struggling, the creature was trapped within the device built on the sacrifice of thousands of Sunguards, but to make sure it could never escape, a mystical tomb was created the size of the Demon, where it would be caged as it had caged its enemies before. In order to secure the tomb, many rituals and incantations were set as well as guarding constructs, and the gigantic coffin of Cupiditas was buried deep beneath rock and dirt, in a cave that was flowing with molten fire, that would eventually become as golden as the Demon's blood.
