Even though it's very simple, it looks really good.

Thanks. I agree that it looks very simple, it's kind-of like a 2D fighting game stage: it feels empty without a person or something standing in the center. That's fine because it's just a background, but at the same time it doesn't quite stand well on its own.

Or maybe it's just those really flat spots which need details :/
