The story's synopsis-
3 years after the end of the Human-Covenant War the UNSC and the Sangheili have chosen to ally themselves once more to search for stragglers of the Covenant Loyalists. Having approval from the Sangheili High Council the UNSC and Sangheili fleets search in what was once covenant loyalist territory.
The UNSC Clairvoyance was the only human vessel in a fleet named "Swift Justice" accompanied by a Assault Carrier "Thoughtless Resolve" and 4 other covenant cruisers.
The Clairvoyance a Marathon class cruiser was the last human ship to be paired a fleet. The Clairvoyance was also given 2 SPARTAN II class 2 spartans to help hunt on the surface of planets. Swift Justice had been stealthfully following a Jiralhanae fleet for weeks to see if they would find any forerunner tech.
Until the jiralhanae finally slipspace jumped randomly. The fleet followed and found the brutes had discovered a forerunner installation that seemed to be a test firing range for the forerunner weaponry and ships. It ended up that the targets were live targets and they are still in storage in the installation. Waiting to be let loose
