EDIT: Oh god, front page?? I didn't even know till like a month later. man i didn't even get to see it up there.
W slash E, I'm still pretty happy. I've never gotten frontpage of something and I'm glad it was this piece that made it up there.

This was meant to be a type of painting where you decide the scenario.

This will be a print at Toshocon.
I love it, it came beautifully in 11x17.

Now i have hundred other things to prepare for print.

Beautiful, as always. :)

It sort of has a feel like a Tarot card, sort of where the vibe and emotion is more important than the literal imagery or something. (I also really liked FelixArk's interpretation, it was similar to mine hehe.) It gives me this sense of melancholy and longing, but also a cold happiness. Like better things await the girl in the picture, though what it may be is unknown to her. Great work, I love it.

It's titled Going Home, but the girl is faced away from the house with backpack at the ready. It implies that she is headed away from the small hut depicted and out into this gorgeous world you have created for us. Who knows what awaits down the river on that canoe? Or perhaps she is facing towards the hills, and is making a trek to territories not yet depicted.

I love this piece. It has a sense of adventure to it, all while containing an amazingly colorful and wondrous world. I would love to see more similar scenes, depicting your style of architecture in buildings larger than the small hut shown. I would think you would have a very talented hand at steampunk styled homes and buildings.

I like this explanation more than my own.

For the sake of clarity, NG only allowed a number of characters in the title, and I couldn't put what I wanted which was, "I Don't Want to See You Here Again."

But title shouldn't mean much in this painting.
Thank you for giving me your interpretation. I loved it.
