The character itself is very creepy and i like it very much, as well as the atmosphere.
Although, i would personally add more textures to the branches on the head to sepparate it from body to read better. And maybe make it darker from bottom to top so the eye is going towards the face all the time. But you're doing great, keep it up! :)

Pretty freaky creature, I like the weird growths on his shoulders, they remind me of tree bark.
