This is part of my history partial project.
We have to design a restaurant with some art movement we saw during the semester, art nouveau was our aisgmente (our team was lucky :D) so we choose to make a sea food restaurant and we based our design in Mucha's work (the best poster designer, or at least my favorite).

Esta es parte de nuestro poryecto parcial de historia.
Tenemos que diseñar un restaurante con alguno de los movimientos que vimos durante el semestre, a nosotros nos tocó art nouveau (tuvimos suerte :D) asÃ- que escogimos un restaurante de mariscos basando el diseño en los carteles de Mucha (el mejor cartelista, o al menos mi favorito).

@averall: Don't worry about the language, it should have been obvious that she doesn't speak English as a native language (though she is very good at it). If a translation was so important to you, just use Google Translate rather than sound like a jerk. Since it's simple, I've just been copying and pasting my reviews so it's in both English and Spanish as a courtesy to the artist, they honored us with their art, and I'm not dishonoring our country at all by doing something simple like this.
Eh... Sorry for the rant there. Anyway, on to the piece. I definitely can tell the style you made this in yet have no idea what to call it, but I recognize it. xD The simple background and halo really puts the focus on the mermaid, this was a very good poster, in fact, you should try actually making one commercially sometime. :D

@ averall: No te preocupes por el idioma, que deberÃ-a haber sido obvio que ella no habla Inglés como lengua materna (aunque es muy bueno en eso). Si la traducción era tan importante para usted, sólo tiene que utilizar Google Translate en lugar de sonar como un idiota. Puesto que es simple, acabo de copiar y pegar mis comentarios por lo que es en Inglés y español como cortesÃ-a para con el artista, que nos honran con su arte, y no estoy deshonrando a nuestro paÃ-s a todos por hacer algo tan sencillo como este.
Eh ... Perdón por la diatriba existe. De todos modos, a la pieza. Definitivamente puedo decir el estilo que hizo esto aún no tienen idea de cómo llamarlo, pero lo reconozco. xD El fondo simple y halo realmente pone el foco en la sirena, se trataba de un cartel muy bueno, de hecho, usted debe tratar de hacer realidad un comercial en algún momento. : D

A translation in english would REALLY help for the piece for us americans that well, ya know, use the language of our country and honor our country FIRST!!! (btw i'm Native american and Asian)

No offense but I don't have to honor nobody XD By the way, art nouveau was born in Europe that's why is in french.
It means "Mucha - Molluscs and Crustaceae"
