I just saw pirates of the caribean and the mermaids there disapointed me... and I've wanted to do a mermaid for a while which is not involved with homework.

Breathtaking!
I've been browsing through your work, ever since you were front paged with "green riding hood." And I think your style is very distinct and charming, however, this picture by far is my favorite.
The hair, the angle of the face, and the upward lighting makes it seem ethereal. And the texture for the body.. how did you do that? I'm sorry, pretty amateurish to ask >.>

Thank you! Well... the texture was the easiest part, i just searched for fish scale texture on internet, and it was this metal texture wich i liked but it was metal, so i used a filter in photoshop and made it look like a painting then i manpulated the color to give it a blue tone and made it transparent, and there it is n_n
The hard part was the tail cause the black spots were made by my me n_n

buen dibujo me agrado el color o efecto mas bien del azullo unico raron son las supongo escamas pero de ahi en mas muy buen dibujo y espero que a mi no me decepcionen jaja keep on rockin' baby
