Digital version of the marker sketch I did yesterday. I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out, as I was playing with possible approaches to creating quick and simple but still appealing comic book drawings.

nice vector/vexel work

really like how the colors tie in with the character, especially with the back light.

It must be a challenge to make his eyes glow, it might be helpful to pick up the contrast there.

I like the use of artistic liberties in this as well, the light source seems inconsistent with the shadow direction and where the cast shadow is placed along the head, however if it was worked in any other way, it might instigate a problem with intended feeling.

I have to ask, whats with the green smudge in the back ground?

I like the contrast between the human form and clothes and the emotionless robotic face.

Holy hell!

Wow this really displays some skill! You did some awesome depth and proportions there.

I like the shading style. It gives it a serious, hard edged, graphic novel look. I would love to see more of your work. The background gives him a kind of "Sin City" pop. Nicely done.

Though I would like to see some of your work with a face. I noticed a lot of your art doesn't have humanoid style faces. Remember that it also essential. But experiment with it. I would like to see it.

Thank you for the in-depth review! As far as the faces go, I definitely have my practice in drawing faces, I just haven't really posted any of them. Ha! But thanks for the tip. I'll post some human stuff soon enough! :D
