A steam punk robot I designed in my life drawing class in college. Sketched and inked on paper, scanned, then colored and textures added in Photoshop. Piece inspired by the Daft Punk song of the same name.

Nice drawing

I thought it was good to see something that looked original. It was mostly because I have just seen a lot of stuff lately that's just exclusive Newgrounds characters. Of course, it could also be because this is something I am unfamiliar with. Daft Punk happens to be one of my favorite bands too! I think it's funny how he appears to have these little balls on his arms. It's like they were taken out of the holes in the rest of his body.

The background is also very nice. I think it's cool how everything seems to contrast so well. The smoke looks extremely cartoonish especially when compared to the more realistic background. The robot itself is kind of a mixture between the two styles. You can tell that I have a lot of art reviews on this website.
