Concept for a scuba-themed robot. Meant to be part of a series of the same robot with different equipment and color schemes, but I have yet to create any more.
This particular model is the MM02-MRN, which stands for Mini Machina 02 - Marine. Equipped with a high-speed underwater mobility backpack and a harpoon gun, this unit is made for high speed marine missions. His harpoon gun can be held on the gun rack attached to his backpack above his head.
Created completely in Photoshop. Textures from cgtextures.com.

I like robots
Man, I wish I could draw like you. I mean, I can; I could easily copy this, but I'm invalid without reference. I have little sense of 3D space so it's difficult for me to draw robotic geometries. I give you kudos for both having the idea and being able to express it. This reminds me of the "Acguy" from Gundam, the two tone on the tank stands out nicely.
Thank you! I understand it can be difficult to express an idea, let alone come up with it! And I love the Acguy reference, as I'm a huge Gundam Fan. :D

Wow just wow
This is really great, I could imagine that in a crazy game! Its really proffessional, do you do drawings, for a living if I may ask?
And I use cg textures aswell, its a awesome site.
Unfortunately I am still only in college, and no one has really offered me a solid project to work on professionally. But I'm willing to work on anything thrown my way. I'm trying to either be a Traditional 2-D Animator or a Concept Artist for video games when I finally do make drawing my career.

WOOTS
Looks completely awesome...but how the hell did you make it completely on Photoshop?
Also, what do you mean by "textures from.."?
Didn't you say that you made it?
Ha. Alright, I made it by drawing out the lineart, coloring, and shading with my wacom tablet, and then enhanced the pic with textures. Textures are just photos are different textured objects that often make a digital piece of art look more realistic, depending on how well it's textured. The reason it says "texures from.." is because I know of a good stock photo site that offers hundreds of texture pics meant to be used in just such a situation. And the most professional thing to do when using such a picture is to credit the source. It's mostly professionalism. :D
