Author Comments
The wind cut through the long grass as the souls of the dead wound through the night sky above. They had come to the Soul Tree, the place where all good souls travel to become one with the earth once more. For the bad souls who choose a different route, well - that is another story...

This is an awesome art piece, mostly because it just works perfectly with its lines. I'm not quite sure what it's even supposed to represent. I'm guessing it's something having to do with moving on with life, but then again, I can just read the author's comments. I wish I could make out what the head stones say. Many of the objects seem to have conflicting color structures. The head stones are more old looking while the landscape is wonderfully bright.
You did a great job of showing off colors with the background too. You get a great sense of perspective when you see the leaves coming closer to you. It almost reminds me of Pringles chips. It seems like this could make a great short story or even a novel. With pictures like this, you really don't need a literature portal. I love how the skull guy looks so ordinary with his clothes.

I like your style with all these little thin lines.

Storybook
The leaves in this picture give this some nice depth. The colors and line art are beautiful. The whole picture reminds of something from a demented children's story
