Demonic Encounter

Woop! Finally a proper background :P This is one of the guys I live streamed.

This demon dog is actually a re-draw of this character form ages ago, hopefully I think did a little bit better this time :)
From the livestream I think this took me between 4-5 hours.

when doing the drawing "Corn's Dream" on my page i had to shuffle though hundreds of photos of wolves, it to me a long long time to notice this: the neck on all northern wolves has grater mass then the jawline. it looks like you did the same thing i was doing and narrowing the chest and neck to meet human diminutions. it is hard to tell form this POV. but the shap of the head is not the centor of this peaces, the real draw is the fire with is cool as hell. thank you for sowing this off.

Grenyol responds:

I ended up drawing a thinner neck to symbolise the less wolf-like appearance as he is a demon, and the majority of the anatomy is different to how a live wolf would be (ie, horns, longer neck, belly plates, elongated limbs fire mains, four eyes and a thin waist) But thanks for the comment :)

Nice job! I love the concept! MY only criticisms would be suggesting you add more shadows. It looks like the character is floating on the background not giving it much depth. it looks like the flames on its back and tail would cause some serious shadows on the foreground. all in all though I love the piece great job, keep up the good work!

Grenyol responds:

I see your point and I'll save that in mind for the future :) thanks for a helpful critique!
