The detail is so amazing!! I love how many pieces of both worlds that you have incorporated.
This is my entry for the Draw with Jazza March 2017 Competition of the Month.
Lord Of The Hogwarts
This is my interpretation of the competition brief, I used Mechanical pencils (0.3 H, B & 0.5 Blue) the paper is a sheet from an A2 Pink Pig pad. I could go into a detailed description of the Illustration but I thinks Its better to leave it up to the viewers interpretation. I probably am close to 200 hours of work in the project and I enjoyed every moment. Unfortunately due to time restrictions and the paper size I was unable to get a proper scan of the final image so I had to use a photo instead. Which kind of looses some of the final details. But still I hope you enjoy my entry.

I don't usually enter competitions but I have always loved both words Tolkien and Rowling created and have for a while been thinking of doing one for my office wall but have been putting it off due to other university projects. However i saw this competition and thought why not do one with the best of both in it. As for the amount of detail i usually get lost in it once i start something ending in me spending as much time planning the piece as actually drawing. Its nice of you to appreciate the effort that went into the piece and thank you for taking the time to comment.
Holy moly, the amount of details!! That's very impressive! :)
Thanks for the feedback its very much aprechiated
I can just stare at this for hours! Sooooo much detail! The blue makes it really pop!
i used to just use blue for the basic sketch but i liked it so much that i tend to make it more prevalent in my drawings now. Tanks for taking the time to comment
