You know when you play Metroid and you see the vast expansive map and you say "Yeah! I'm a silent powerful badass and this is my playground. Adventure!!!" That's what I wanted to convey with this one. I'm very happy with Samus herself, the Chozo statues (for the most part) and the star-scape. There are few bits that could have been better but I've worked on it for so long that I had to just finish it and move on. I did manage to learn a thing or two while working on this one so I'd consider it a success. I hope everyone likes it.

P.S. Big thank you to Jaxxy for giving me some help with the coloring techniques.

As a long time fan of Metroid, this really hits the spot for me. The color palette is in tune with the motif of ambiguity that surrounds Samus.

Detail is exquisite as well. Well done, good sir. I'm glad to have worked with you.

Samus is thick, almost like she's built from jumping/fighting/running all the time.
surprised I hadn't seen this when it was posted.
spectacular work on the surroundings and scenery and the lighting is so perfect for setting an otherworldly mood.
