Cool man!

I love the title, because it reminds me of that FUCKING WOOD PECKER that would peck on the metal plate on the telephone pole, outside my bedroom window at 5 am.
It was an epic battle between him and I. He eventually lost.

Anyfuckingway, nice pecker.

Yeeeeeeee!!

My name is Gareth and I like drawing fucking birds all of the time!!!

Cool picture this one. It looks real as fuck. If I blur my eyes, I'd never know it was a painting. Excellent.

Awesome

This is a very beautiful painting. I was surprised to see something like this on NG. I can't remember any one posting a wildlife image here. The anatomy, feather details, etc. are very realistic. I have never saw this particular species of woodpecker, however, it looks a lot like either a Hairy of Downy woodpecker (except for the red and brown on the chest and tail). I really like this type of work and I would like to see you try to paint other species of birds.

Gaz-Metal responds:

I like to paint monsters and weird stuff, but underneath all that evil, I also love birds. It's a great spotted woodpecker by the way. Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated.
