Corthane Mystic

Share

The Corthane are the most ancient race on Alestria. They are born from the earth once a year during the Awakening ceremony. Vast amounts of Corthane gather in the scared location that holds the stone in which they are born from. A Corthane’s characteristics are influenced by the element they are born under. A Mystic is usually born under a rainstorm and have a nurturing personality and a deep connection with wildlife and vegetation. They seek a life of tranquility and tend to the lands in which they reside.

There's a lot of realism in this work- making it all the more appealing. I feel that the tree immediately behind the Corthane is the best in appearance, being very natural and appealing, as is the nearby waterfall. The projection of the natural sounds of the location comes across very strongly, as does the serenity. Good design work on the Corthane, with the thoughtful look and the cloak adds a human touch. Very good work.
