This fake screenshot was something I made once I wanted to make a Fallout fangame, the project came to a bit of a halt after this, it was never coded or anything for obvious reasons, I can't code, the source file of all this is long gone anyhow.

It was later renamed to Fallout: Nuclear Winter aswell, it was a concept about a vaultdweller that needed parts to repair it's heating, as the Vault is based in the nuclear winterd Alaska, starting off with a unique Vaultsuit made to protect it's owner from frostbite.

The project sprunk up before the launch of Fallout 3 in 2008

I would love to see a flash game based on Fallout, since I'm a huge fan. You might be interested to know that Alaska was invaded by China during the war, causing the U.S. to annex Canada, so that might screw with your vision for this game, should it ever happen. (Which I hope it does!)

Nice job!

about time there is someone out there that likes the original fallout games! is this Fallout 2.5? this game looks interesting but the HUD looks too like new and stremline, make it look more 50s and old and weathered and it will look good. This pic has alot of Pontential.

Gamers-Gear responds:

Very true, It's just that it isn't easy to design a easy to use pipboy Fallout 1/2 style but still make it usable, stylish, and not taking too much room, I'm going to return to this one day.
