Goslav

Somewhat the main character in the novel I'm writing. He is a representation of how close we can get to being vampires according to biology, chemistry, laws of physics and evolution. This is one of many illustrations I plan to place in the novel.

A bit about the novel:
- Genre: horror/ mystery.
- Epistolatory novel that will exceed just journals and letters.
- As opposed to other fictions about about vampires this one has nothing to do with divine, satanic or super-virus origins (well maybe a little, but transformation is not changing one into a vampire strictly speaking, according to evolution one must be born of a species, not changed into). It is scientificly feasible vampirism, or at least to my knowledge based on the study I did in the field.

A bit about the character:
- His original human name is Gosław but later he changes his name prefference to Hefestian, although through his centuries of life he will use many other names.
- His psychological profile will change as time passes, at first he is a typical kid, then becomes a bandit witha a bit of a code, then... I don't wanna spoil. Let's say he's not going to be by any means a good person, though his motto to those uncertain of his morality will be "The world is not cruel enough, you haven't seen cruely yet". Simply put, the thing that will prevet him from being an utter evil nutcase will be the will of survival and reason, he won't be that evil cause more evil would expose his true identity.
- He's not a vampire, vampires in my novel will be a whole family of species, several of which have evolved sentience and u-sociality (like bees or ants) and therefore they could mutate foreign species animals into thralls, vampire-like creatures that retain many vampiric qualities but also gain restrictions.

Yeah, he kinda looks like my Caine... you can say I'm kinda stuck with this model but hey, best to stick with what you know.
