Cain and Lilith

Share

I just wanted to make a gift for a DA member miss-it-girl She made a wonderful version of Lilith so I decided to make her a fanart. Don't mind the quality of Caine, we all know it is mostly about Lilith so forgive his quality XD (BTW it's a test drawing of how he may look in the future chapters of the comicbook, finally a beard eh XD). Is the red thingy on Cain's face supposed to be a half-mask or some kind of deformity?

Is there someplace I can look at the aforementioned comic book, or is it an all-at-once-when-it's-finished type of thing?

Galejro responds:

It's more like transparency of his flesh when in the dark. I wanted to make something griddy & gorry, but at the same time original, classy and sterile. Randomly, when it just fits the moment (I haven't actually thought about giving it any decent explanation) when Shadow falls on Caine's body his flesh becomes transparent and exposes his skeleton and some flesh. Here I got kinda lazy, you know, what about his hand and neck than? There are other pictures of Caine in my newgrounds gallery from different angles and you can see what I mean. You can see the comic book in two places, on Inkblazers: http://www.inkblazers.com/manga-and-comics/Vampire-the-Masquerade-The-Return-of-Caine/detail-page/4159?lang=en or on Deviantart: http://galejro.deviantart.com/gallery/ (On Deviantart the two chapters are separated galleries)
