I love this piece so much, I'm not even going to call it an art trade in the title. haha My half of an art trade with Cirprius on DeviantART, and I can't even begin to tell you why this took so long (although I'll try).
Besides moving into my house, the sketching process took a good amount of one week, along with the outlining which took another week; the watercolor sketching took a good month, followed by the painting which took a night to finalize. I am so proud to call this art, considering I didn't just throw something together and I truly thought about what I was making this time. The way her half made me feel with her trade pushed me to try and make something spectacular back. I think that was very well accomplished, in my own personal opinion. tehehe
Still, I want to know more than anything out of this whole thing if I truly struck a chord. If I not only drew something, but created a connection with memories or interests somewhere. I want to know if this is personally persuading, because that is what I felt with the first half of the trade. I felt a grand sense of understanding that many fail to realize, and that I gained a whole new perspective on things from the outside of myself. I found my own understanding, and I waned to utilize that in the best way possible. I hope you enjoy, Cirprius, and may the sea and unknown always find their way to your imagination!
With true intentions,
Gabriel
