These outfits are starting to grow on me.
When you read a lot of manga chances are you will run into one that is set up in an European castles and kings story. And if there is a castle there will probably be a circus or street performer. My point is I've seen these costumes a lot and I enjoy them a lot. And I hope other people enjoy them as well.
I'm actually a circus performer (Aerial Arts and contortion). (:
That was the inspiration for the design. While it's not practical for performing, I looove designing costumes.

Beautiful...
Just absolutely beautiful, so well put together and bright and just... God damn. You are beyond talented as an artist, and I must admit I love that this had a very small undertone of creepiness to it. But maybe that's cause the circus has always creeped me out...
Anyway, Love the picture, hope to see more from you!

Very nice...
Excellent use of rhythm and repetition with the arch of the curtains reflected in the body. I do however, get lots towards the bottom, the cage has too intense of a yellow/gold, i believe dulling and cooling off the color with help push it into the background and draw less attention. Also if you were to put the arm behind the cage in front i feel that would also clarify some of the confusion at the bottom. Wonderful piece and congratulations on the front page.
