Did this illustration for a t-shirt contest, Illustram'esta 2014, you had to choose from three themes and develop an illustration fit for a t-shirt.
I choose MAYAN GODS and began working on this one.
Ixtab is the goddess of suicide and she's also a psychopomp, a guide for the souls.
Also, suicide by hanging was considered a honorable way to die.
I made the whole drawing on a A4 cotton paper with pen n' ink, scanned it and then on to psd.
