Trespasser

Based on an rp between me and a couple of friends. At the moment I have the run of things as they're in my world. (which they will soon be leaving)

Anyway, part of the group had to go to the graveyard and speak with it's keeps about the dead waking and wandering around when they shouldn't be as they were blessed and protected from turning undead. Unfortunately they walked in without permission, and so two statues appeared at the entrance. Ioma, decided to run her mouth and mock the statues and the guy who had been to this place before and so got a bit of a surprised by said statues. Ibwa doesn't like trespassers or noisy people.
Ibwa and his sister Eurynome are often confused for gargoyles for their ability to pretend to be statues.

I originally did a shitty doodle cause i was bored but then my brain decided to do a proper version, which i'm glad I did because i'm fairly pleased with it.

Ioma belongs to my freind, ibwa belongs to me.

I like that big ass hat :D

Another good piece of work! The realism of the bodies is this work's best feature, with the skin tones, the lighting, the muscles, etc. The electric/magic energy along the chain creates an attractive shock and awe feeling, and creates sympathy for Ioma, but at the same time, I can understand Ibwa's purpose in doing what needs to be done to keep Ioma in line- the 'talk' situation really seems to be taking that needed, dramatic step.

I feel that there needs to be a bit more ominousness to the scene, with perhaps a darker sky or a better projection of power from Ibwa in terms of purpose (fear projecting (?)) to make the scene not feel so 'bright' in this interaction. Yet the scene is still a powerful one in its depiction.

Thank you for your comment, it is greatly appreciated!

Simply astounding. truly. Had I not already featured you i'd feature this piece! (though I have to be careful to give other people a turn) - Your painting quality/style is really great, smooth and visually appealing. You have a good grasp of your technique and know how to make your work stand out with it. Really well done, thanks for sharing, please keep it up!

Its unreal actually for someone to make such awesome masterpieces *_*
