Hey newgrounds,
This started out as a study from a classic paint "alexandre cabanel - fallen angel".
I used a diffrent color pallet to see if i could still match the orginal.
It turned out way too cool, so i thought i would make it a finished piece instead of a study.
As you can see the robot is hurt his right foot is sliced open and piece's of metal are visable.
Tankmen are busy repairing and fueling him. This all takes place high in the sky, to add more drama to the scene.
Finally i made it a wallpaper, since its robotday!

Amazing

I wish it was higher resolution but it's still great. The pose of the robot is just so ridiculously epic it's size and the fact all the tankmen are working to repair it just add to the majesty. Probably the best picture i've seen on Newgrounds. Great work!

good

the main focus (the robot) is simply speectacular, buuuut the tankmen look scketchy and unfinished. However the rest of the background is just as good as the central focus. perhaps tankmen as supposed to look a little cartoonish eh?

It will be impossible...

It will be impossible to comment on this picture without talking about the size of that robots penis. Still, this piece is absolutely beautiful, great work.
