At the time this was created, it was my most complex painting. I painted all the grass, flowers, leaves, and everything else completely by hand, one brush stroke at a time. I seem to enjoy sunsets and evening sky colours, so I tend to incorporate them into my art relatively often...! This painting felt like a notable accomplishment for me both because it was my most complex painting at the time, and because I painted the majority of it on a single layer. Not very helpful if I wanted to separate parts of the image to use as graphics anywhere, but at least I could avoid the whole "I've been painting on the wrong layer all this time!" problem I seem to so often encounter!
This one took at least 10 hours to paint, but it's hard to keep track of the time when I take a lot of breaks.
