Shadow Bane

Share

This creature always lurks in the dark as it tends to die out if exposed to a very strong source of light. It get's it's life force from his favorite weapon, the soul scythe. He feeds on human souls with the use of his scythe, the souls are then trapped in the scythe until it is fully devoured by this vile creature. Taking away it's scythe will cause him to lose a lot of his' strength and may die due to starvation.

WTF! Since when did I come up with that intro?!

Dark

So this is dark but thats what I like about it, and the color in there makes it standout even more aswell, even the backround was notbad, the "DETAIL" was top notch so nice work all across the board.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Maybe some cloudy smoke effects in the backround to give more of a dark feel.

~X~

Glad to raise it from 3.41 to 3.43

This was amazing and I have absolutely no idea why this has such a low rating at least in comparison to a lot of other popular stuff! The coolest thing was looking at the little stitches all over his body. It kind of reminds me of the character Kakuzu from "Naruto". It also kind of looks like something from a nightmare version of "Where The Wild Things Are". I love the little ghosts that are around his scythe. Sometimes with audio submissions people put in a story in the author's comments.

This is the first piece of art I have reviewed where there was a story attached to the comments. It's a very interesting one as well. Congradulations on improvising it as the comments imply! When I first heard the title, I thought it was the shadow of the Batman villian Bane. I also love how his bones just strut out under his skin.

Awesome!

This looks really good. His legs look a bit short or small. I think you should try adding backgrounds to your pictures, it would add a lot to your already great characters.
