This is my favorite monoprint so far. Made by combining green and black monoprint ink and spreading it out on a plastic plate. I moved the ink around to create the needed texture to make the illusion of the hole. After I thought it looked alright, i forced the ink onto a monoprint sheet of paper through a printing press. Then I took a picture of my friend with an afro walking down a hallway, and drew the body on this picture. I think it really makes it look nice. I hope you enjoy it!

That this hole must lead somewhere...

Completely Awesome!
This is looks so simple yet looks heaps good and would be heaps hard to do.
You've used one colour yet made the image look 3'd. The only way it could be better is if you drew the person on an angle so you could see the side of him slightly.
The way a silhouette works is that it is the outline of a person, and It is difficult to make it at an angle... although I could just simply take a picture of my friend standing at an ANGLE rather than straight forward. Then I could trace the figure onto there. Good idea. Thanks for the compliments.

interesting
I love the style, and how there seems to be an ambient light. It looks to me almost like a rolled up leaf. Very creative. Not sure if i like the silouette (spelling?), considering it doesn't have much definition, almost like a peg. Still very nice in my opinion. Keep up the good work!
Well i didnt give it very much definition on purpose. I like it to look as if it is just sitting there in the environment as a 2D form, but it looks cool in a 3D environment. Thanks for the review!

awesome
got a really awesome effect doing this, love how it turned. if i personally was going to add any more too it all i'd do is perhaps add a shadow to the sillhouette to make it look a little more 3 dimensional. looks great though
I was thinking of that, but it is hard to make shades with sillhouettes because it is a very dark and black color. I would need to use some charcoal to make that effect, and i am afraid it would mess it up since im not very good with shadows. Also, where would the shadow come from if your in a dark hole heeh. Thanks for the review, do you do monoprinting?
