Well, here it is! After 5 weeks of cutting a planet in space into wood, inking the wood plate up with blue ink, pressing the ink on a piece of monoprint paper using a printing press, spreading watercolor over the ink while it wasnt dry, and rolling silhouette ink over the top ever so slighty I am done with my planet in space pic! I made this look really trippy so I am proud of that. Reminds me a bit to much of the animator god ZeekySpaceLizard... I repeated the process four times and used different colors of water color and different ink spreading and combining techniques for each one. It sort of looks like I used charcoal or pastel but I didnt! The watercolor blended in with the silhouette ink to give it that pastel texture. Full size view looks pretty cool.

Isnt it just... out of this world?

Holy Cow!

This picture is definitely exciting, to say the least!

The bleeding of the colors worked out very well for this piece. The repetition is something I wouldn't have thought to do. Great Great Great

I repeated it like 6 times and decided to put 4 of them together. originally this was going to be a floating island in a sky, but i screwed up hahaha so i decided to just make it a trippy planet thing. Thanks!

Deep, simple, yet mindblowingly beatiful

Great job man, I didn't espect much at first, but looking at it more, gives you a feeling of at something through magical glasses, more of this would be awesome, please consider combining this tecnique with a more solid drawing. Its might well be the best background art to be seen if used correctly. It is completly out of this world. Thank you for making this.

I did use this style on a more solid drawing actually! It was a bit hard since my usual style is a bit random rather than high attention to texture detail.

I am glad you enjoy the out of this world style and understand that its not nescesarilly what it looks like but whats underneath it. Cool :)
